30-Day Warranty Terms of Service

Thank you for choosing Ridge Small Engine Co. for your small engine repair needs. We stand by the quality of our work and offer a 30-day limited warranty on repairs and services provided. Please read the following terms carefully.

What’s Covered

This warranty only covers the specific repairs and parts that were serviced or installed by Ridge Small Engine Co. If any issue arises within 30 days of the service date, and it is directly related to the work we performed, we will fix it at no additional charge.

Examples of covered issues:

Parts we installed that fail due to defect or improper installation
Labor related to the specific repair we performed

What’s Not Covered

Our warranty does not cover:

Issues unrelated to the original repair
Pre-existing problems not addressed during the initial service
Damage caused by misuse, neglect, lack of maintenance, or operator error
Wear and tear items (e.g. belts, spark plugs, filters) unless they were replaced as part of the original repair
Work performed by others after our service
Engines or equipment brought in with multiple problems where only specific repairs were authorized or completed

If we were not hired to fix it, it’s not covered.

Warranty Period

The warranty is valid for 30 calendar days from the date of service, as shown on your invoice or work order.

Claim Process

To make a warranty claim:

Contact us within the 30-day window
Provide your original receipt or invoice
Bring the equipment back to our shop for inspection

We will inspect the issue to determine if it’s covered under this warranty. If it is, we’ll make the necessary repairs at no cost to you.

Final Notes

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the customer and equipment listed on the original service ticket.
We reserve the right to deny warranty coverage if it’s determined the issue is unrelated or caused by conditions outside our control.

Ridge Small Engine Co. – Service Agreement & Liability Waiver

By accepting this invoice, the customer authorizes Ridge Small Engine Co. to perform the requested repairs and agrees to the following:

Limited Warranty: A 30-day limited warranty applies only to repairs and parts installed by Ridge Small Engine Co. It excludes unrelated issues, misuse, and normal wear and tear.
Customer Responsibility: Customers agree to operate equipment safely, follow manufacturer guidelines, and perform routine maintenance.
Safety & Liability: Ridge Small Engine Co. is not liable for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from operator error, misuse, accidents, or equipment failure beyond our control.
Limitation of Liability: Liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the original repair. Ridge Small Engine Co. disclaims all incidental, indirect, special, punitive, or consequential damages.
Indemnification: Customers agree to indemnify and hold Ridge Small Engine Co. harmless from any claims arising from the use of repaired equipment.
Governing Law: This agreement is governed by California law.

By paying an invoice, you acknowledge you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
